Playwrights of Denton will meet Tuesday, Oct. 19, starting at 7 pm upstairs at the Campus Theatre. Play Readers of Denton met last week and read the Jones/Hope/Wooten comedy Christmas Belles in anticipation of the auditions for Greater Lewisville Community Theatre.
Play Readers will next meet Tuesday, Oct. 26. Playwrights will next meet Nov. 16.
MTD's production of Funny Girl continues this weekend at the Campus Theatre. And Play Readers are also performing off-Campus: Wes Porter and Helen Exel have the leads in the melodrama Dirty Work on the Trail in Pilot Point, and Damon Wadyko opens in Jekyll & Hyde for GLCT in Lewisville. Break a leg, everyone!
