Play Readers will meet April 13

Play Readers of Denton will meet upstairs at the Campus Theatre on Tuesday, April 13, from 7-9 pm to read a play out loud. Last week, we read Good as New by Peter Hedges.

Playwrights of Denton will meet Tuesday, April 20. Helen Exel has a new script she'd like to hear out loud, so we're putting out a call for readers as well.

The Second Saturdays Seminar on Saturday, April 10, will feature Mike Barrow giving an update on the Black Box venue. The seminar starts at 1 pm at the Campus Theatre. It's free, but we always appreciate knowing how many to expect. If you're planning to attend, please let us know by emailing thedccteam@campustheatre.com or calling (940) 382-7014 x3.

Barnes and Noble is hosting a Bookfair for DCT this weekend (and online until Friday). A portion of the purchases made with our voucher will come back to us to use for purchases of scripts and educational materials. The voucher can be printed off from http://www.dentoncommunitytheatre.com/documents/VBF4-10VBFFlyerwithVouchersBW.doc

And if you're going to be at Barnes and Noble on Saturday afternoon, you'll be able to see DCT in action! The Fairy Godmother will be reading stories at noon, and then she, Cinderella, and Prince Charming will be available for photos and autographs until 3. At 4, some of DCT's cast members will be performing a short selection of songs from our current production of Cinderella!

And note that auditions for Night of the Iguana are coming up April 18 and 19!
