Play Readers will meet April 27
Play Readers of Denton will meet upstairs at the Campus Theatre on Tuesday, April 27, from 7-9 pm to read a play out loud.
This past week, Playwrights of Denton met to read Helen Exel's new play, Sarah's Key, and all agreed that it's a great story and script, and deserves a workshop performance! The next meeting of Playwrights of Denton will be May 18.
If you can spare any time away from the Arts and Jazz Festival this weekend, Cinderella runs its final performances Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2. The box office is open M-F 1-5 at 940 382-1915, or you can go online at www.campustheatre.com to order tickets.
The Second Saturdays Seminar on May 8 will be an in-house workshop for house managers, but be sure to clear your calendars for the June 12 workshop on auditioning, led by DCT legend Dennis Welch!
Stay tuned for the cast list of Night of the Iguana, which (we hope) will be posted today--we've heard that the auditions were so good, the directing team is having a really hard time finalizing the cast, and that's the best kind of problem a theater could hope for!
