Play Readers will meet Oct. 1

Play Readers of Denton will next meet Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud.

The next meeting of Playwrights of Denton will be Oct. 15 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre. Please email thedctteam@campustheatre.com if you're bringing something that requires readers. NB: We'll be reading Claud Singer's adaptation of Tony Hillerman's Sacred Clowns on Oct. 15. We're going to need lots of readers for this one, so please put it on your calendar!

The Second Saturdays Seminar on Oct. 12 will be TBA--we're hoping that we will have some Method and Madness scripts to adjudicate. Elsie Barrow will be "Raiding the Costume Closet" on Nov. 9 from 1-3 pm at the DCT POINTBank Black Box. The Second Saturday in December, on Dec. 14, will be our quarterly Volunteer Orientation. It will start at 1 pm at the Campus Theatre, and both old and new volunteers are welcome.

The scripts for Who's in Bed with the Butler and Miracle on 34th Street are in and available for checkout from the Box Office of the Campus Theatre. We'll be reading both of them closer to auditions.
