Play Readers of Denton will meet Tuesday, August 23, starting at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud. Please note that there will be no meeting of Play Readers on August 30, as this will be the fifth Tuesday of the month (and Play Readers meets the first, second, and fourth Tuesdays).
Last week, Playwrights of Denton met to read the finished second act of Claud Singer's new play and talk puppets and the new playwriting competition (more info at http://www.dentoncommunitytheatre.com/PlaywritingCompetitionMainPage.htm). The next meeting of Playwrights of Denton will be Sept. 20.
This is the last weekend for DCT's production of Bye Bye Birdie--don't miss it!
Auditions for DCT's upcoming production of Macbeth are Monday and Tuesday at the Campus Theatre (more info at http://www.dentoncommunitytheatre.com/Macbethinfo.com). Break a leg, everyone!
