Playwrights of Denton will meet Tuesday, Sept. 21, starting at 7 pm upstairs at the Campus Theatre. Playwrights with material or budding playwrights with ideas are all welcome to attend. The next meeting of Playwrights of Denton will be Oct. 19.
Last week Play Readers of Denton met and read Beth Henley's Miss Firecracker Contest.
The Campus Theatre is located at 214 W. Hickory, Denton. Play Readers and Playwrights of Denton are adult outreach programs of Denton Community Theatre. Play Readers of Denton meets the first, second, and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 pm to read a play out loud. Playwrights of Denton meets the third Tuesday of each month to support the efforts of local playwrights. The programs are free and open to the public. Please be aware that language may be an issue, especially in contemporary plays.
