Play Readers will meet Sept. 28

Play Readers of Denton will meet Tuesday, Sept. 28, starting at 7 pm upstairs at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud.

Last week, Playwrights of Denton met to discuss works in progress and producing in and around Denton. The next meeting of Playwrights of Denton will be Oct. 19.

Play Readers and Playwrights of Denton are adult outreach programs of Denton Community Theatre, located in the Campus Theatre, 214 W. Hickory in downtown Denton. Play Readers meets the first, second, and fourth Tuesdays of each month beginning at 7 pm to read a play out loud. Playwrights of Denton meets the third Tuesday of each month to support the work of local playwrights. All programs are free and open to the public. Please be aware that language may be an issue, especially in contemporary plays.
