Play Readers will meet Feb. 9

Play Readers of Denton will meet Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 7-9(ish) pm upstairs at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud. Last week, for the first time in our 4-year history, only one person showed up--Julie thought about reading The Belle of Amherst or Shirley Valentine (or some other one-woman play), but thought better of it and went home to grade papers. Let's hope folks are less busy this week, as grading papers isn't nearly as fun as Play Readers!

Break a leg to all Play Readers/Writers involved in DCT's Cyrano deBergerac, which opens tonight at the Campus Theatre. We hope you all have a swash-buckling good time!

The Second Saturdays Seminar from 1-3 pm on Saturday, Feb. 13, will focus on "Opening the Black Box." Mike Barrow will update participants on DCT's new venue-in-progress, including plans and blueprints, and will also take questions. If you'd like to attend, please let DCT know at thedctteam@campustheatre.com or call 940 382-7014 x3.

We hope to see you around the Campus soon!
