Play Readers of Denton will meet Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud. Last week, we read Caryl Churchill's dystopian A Number. This Tuesday, we've got a copy of Everybody Comes to Rick's, the original play that Casablanca is based on, to read if we have enough readers (thanks to Play Reader Suzanne Sweeney). Won't that be fun?
Because of the way the December holidays fall on the calendar this year, Playwrights of Denton won't meet until Jan. 15.
The Second Saturdays Seminar on Dec. 8 (1-3 at the Campus Theatre) will focus on reading and adjudicating 2 or 3 of the plays submitted to the Method and Madness Playwriting Festival. It's a great way to hear some brand-new plays!
It's a Wonderful Life opens Dec. 7 and runs until Dec. 16. More info at the DCT website, www.dentoncommunitytheatre.com.

If anyone else wants to contribute, we can continue working toward the next tile color level, at $250. If you haven't pledged yet but you'd be interested, email Julie at thedctteam@campustheatre.com and tell her your pledge amount.
