Unbalanced by Aaron Zilbermann
Synopsis:
After a disturbing suicide attempt, Ezra finds himself locked in the psychiatric ward of a hospital. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder, his psychiatrist at the facility recommends a treatment of electroconvulsive therapy to help him break free from the shackles of his depression. Ezra struggles through the memory loss, disorientation, the alienation of his wife and daughters, and his internal struggles toward recovery.
EZRA – A male patient in his early thirties.
DR. AMIN – A female psychiatrist in her late thirties.
SARAH – A female in her early thirties. EZRA’s wife.
SAUL – A male therapist in his early forties.
TONI – A trans (MTF) patient in her late thirties
SONIA – A nineteen year-old female patient.
MERCEDES – A female patient in her early twenties
CAROL – A female patient in her mid forties.
HEATHER – An attractive nurse in her mid-thirties
DR. HAREM – A male anesthetist in his mid-forties
DR. ROSENBERG – a male psychiatrist in his mid-fifties
