Playwrights WILL meet July 21

Playwrights of Denton will meet Tuesday, July 21. A new playwright (!) is bringing a portion of a script that needs 6 readers (preferably 1 F, 5 M, but we'll be happy with whatever combination we get). British dialect experience a plus! Here's what the playwright says about it: "A quick introduction. It's called That Knight Who Tides. It's a medieval comedy. I've been told it reads somewhat like sock-puppet-theater, especially since there's a narrator, but I think of it more as an epic." Sounds like great fun!

Play Readers will meet Tuesday, July 28, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud. Last week, we read Leonard Gershe's Butterflies Are Free.

Congratulations to Play Readers Kim Campbell and Mallory Gawne, who have been cast in DCT's MainStage production of Witness for the Prosecution!
