Play Readers will meet Nov. 5

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, Play Readers will meet at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read Who's In Bed With the Butler, in anticipation of the upcoming auditions for DCT's Mainstage production of it directed by Johnny Williams.

For the next Second Saturdays Seminar, Elsie Barrow will be "Raiding the Costume Closet" on Nov. 9 from 1-3 pm at the DCT POINTBank Black Box. The Second Saturday in December, on Dec. 14, will be our quarterly Volunteer Orientation. It will start at 1 pm at the Campus Theatre, and both old and new volunteers are welcome.

Playwrights of Denton will meet Nov. 18 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre. If you're bringing something and need readers, please email as soon as possible!
DCT's Special Event presentation of The War of the Worlds, with live sound effects, will run this weekend at the DCTPOINTBank Black Box. Performances are 8 pm (not our usual 7:30) on Friday and Saturday, and 2 pm on Sunday, and all seats are $15. Come hear the show that panicked America 75 years ago this week!

Congratulations to Play Readers Jaime Rodriguez and Polly Maynard, who have been cast in DCT's holiday special event, Miracle on 34th Street, which will run weekends at the Campus Theatre Dec. 13-22.
