Playwrights of Denton will meet April 16 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre. We have a new script by Franky Gonzalez to read, and will need 2 readers to play the father and daughter in the play.
Play Readers of Denton will next meet April 23 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre
to read a play out loud. Last week, we read Getting Sara Married.
The April 13 Second Saturdays Seminar will be a
hands-on workshop about putting together a staged reading. Second
Saturdays Seminars run 1-3 pm at the Campus Theatre, and they're free!
The King and I finishes its sold-out run at the Campus Theatre this
weekend--hope you saw it or already have your tickets, because there's not a single ticket available for the three remaining shows.
Congratulations to Play Readers Dennis Welch, Kevin Wickersham, Mike Strecher, Robert Ize, Brad Speck, Polly Maynard, Bryan Patrick, John Rodgers, and Johnny Williams, who have all been cast in DCT's MainStage production of Sly Fox!
Mark your calendars for this year's Clean Up the Campus Day on April 20,
starting at 9 am. Come for an hour or the whole day--lunch will be
provided! We'd also like to clean out the storage unit, and are
particularly seeking pickup trucks and/or trailers to fill. Please let thedctteam@campustheatre.com know to expect you, so we can get a head count for lunch!
