Play Readers of Denton will meet June 28

Play Readers of Denton will meet Tuesday, June 28, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud.

Last week, Playwrights of Denton met to support the work of local playwrights. We read scenes from Elsie Barrow and Claud Singer, and the start of a children's book by Rachel Tillman, which will make a fine family-audiences script in the future.

DCT opens the wildly popular Red, White, and Tuna tonight; it runs this weekend and next, with performances at 8 pm Friday and Saturday and 2 pm Sunday. Tickets are $20 per person. More info at (FYI--Opening night is SOLD OUT!!!)

Auditions for the first show of DCT's 42nd season, The 39 Steps (based on the classic Hitchcock movie) are July 10 and 11 at the Campus Theatre. More info at

And tickets are now on sale for the final show of DCT's 41st season, Bye Bye Birdie. More info at

Hope to see you around the Campus--soon!
