Play Readers will meet on March 4 at 7
pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud, but we will not meet
during Spring Break on Mar. 11.
The next Playwrights of Denton meeting will be March 18. This meeting is
dependent on whether any playwright is bringing something to read or
talk about, so please email thedctteam@campustheatre.com as soon as possible to confirm the need for readers or feedback!
Because of Spring Break, there won't be a Second Saturdays Seminar in March.
MTD's Spamalot opens tonight. Break a leg to everyone in our sister company!
It seems quiet here this week at DCT, but there's a lot in the pipeline. Stay tuned for shows and auditions!

Play Readers will NOT meet Feb. 25
Play Readers will NOT meet Tuesday, Feb. 25. We will meet on March 4 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre to read a play out loud, but we will not meet during Spring Break on Mar. 11.

Two general calls: Hello, Dolly needs an Assistant Stage Manager; contact thedctteam@campustheatre if you're interested. (Performance dates are April 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13.)
And...we're looking for some floor space to paint large backgrounds on. We need a space that's a minimum of 8x14 square feet up to an ideal space that's large enough to paint a 12x24 square foot backdrop. This is a temporary need for a month or less. Does anyone have a barn or hangar or storage building that we could use? If so, just email (you guessed it) thedctteam@campustheatre.com.

Play Readers will meet Feb. 11
Play Readers will meet Tuesday, Feb. 11 to read and adjudicate two more Method
and Madness entries, if we haven't finished them up on Saturday. There's light at the end of the tunnel, folks--thanks to all of you who have worked so hard to get this round adjudicated!
Playwrights of Denton will resume our usual format on Feb. 18, 2014, at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre. We have a new playwright who is bringing a script that calls for 10 men (although I've warned him that, community theatre being what it is, we'll probably have some women reading those roles). Please come if you're able! And if you're bringing something and need readers, please email thedctteam@campustheatre.com as soon as possible!
The Second Saturdays Seminar on Feb. 8 (1-3 pm at the Campus Theatre) will focus on adjudicating scripts for Method and Madness.
Congratulations to Play Readers Pat Watson, Damon Wadyko, Lindsay Keffer, and Jessica Phillips who have all been cast for DCT's MainStage production of Hello, Dolly! Break a leg!
