Sly Fox will be opening on June 7 and run for two weekends. This hilarious adaptation Ben Jonson's Volpone is set in 1890's San Francisco and revolves around a con man's schemes to get richer quicker--the cast is full of Play Readers, including Dennis Welch in the lead role, Johnny Williams, Brad Speck, Polly Maynard, Bob Ize, Kevin Wickersham, Bryan Patrick, and John Rodgers.

Play Readers will NOT meet April 30!
Play Readers of Denton will NOT meet April 30, because it's the 5th Tuesday in a month. We will next meet May 7 at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre
to read a play out loud. Last week, we read Jane Martin's Jack and Jill, and then Franky Gonzalez' Popsicle Kisses.

Auditions will be Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm at the Campus Theatre for two short scripts which will receive readings at DCT's Method and Madness Playwriting Festival May 30-June 1. These readings are a great way to work on a show with shorter rehearsal periods and less memorization!
A special "Thank you" to all the Play Readers who volunteered to help at the Clean Up the Campus Day last week: Jessica Phillips; Damon Wadyko; Johnny Williams; Jim Laney; Philip Lamb; Dennis Welch; Elsie Barrow; Pete and Tom Kelly; and Jaime Rodriguez--you really make DCT shine!

to read a play out loud. Since we didn't have readers for Franky's new play at Playwrights last week, we'll start with his short script.

We'd also like to clean out the storage unit, and are particularly seeking pickup trucks and/or trailers to fill. Please let thedctteam@campustheatre.com know to expect you, so we can get a head count for lunch!
