Play Readers will meet July 1 (at 7 pm at the Campus Theatre) to read a play out loud. Last time, we read Suppressed Desires by Susan Glaspell, The Twelve-Pound Look by J.M. Barrie, and Fumed Oak by Noel Coward.

Playwrights of Denton is on hiatus for the summer, so keep writing, everybody!

Playwrights of Denton on hiatus

It seems that summer is here and our playwrights are busy traveling, gardening, and generally gathering material for later writing, so we'll give ourselves the summer off and resume on Sept. 16!

Last call for Playwrights on June 17

 The next meeting of Playwrights of Denton will be June 17, if there are playwrights who want to meet to read or talk about their work. If you have something to read or discuss, please contact thedctteam@campustheatre.com as soon as possible!

Congratulations to Play Readers Damon Wadyko and Julie Brinker, who have been cast in the DCT Black Box production of Murray Schisgal's Twice Around the Park (directed by Play Readers Dennis Welch and Melanie Welch). Performances are Aug. 1, 2, 3--please make plans to attend!
